Privacy notice

Last updated July 12, 2026.

Film Programming Bureau uses the information you submit to prepare and deliver personalized weekly Los Angeles film-screening recommendations.

Information we collect

The subscriber questionnaire may collect your name, email address, favorite films, directors, genres, viewing preferences, and subjects you would prefer to avoid. We also maintain delivery and unsubscribe records needed to operate the service.

How the information is used

Your preferences and the current screening catalog are processed to generate your recommendations. Your email address is used to deliver the weekly dispatch and service-related messages. We do not sell subscriber information.

Service providers

The service uses Google Forms and Google Sheets for subscriber intake and records, OpenAI for recommendation generation, Resend for email delivery, TMDB for film artwork, and RevivalHub as the source of screening listings. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and choices

Operational records are retained as needed to run, troubleshoot, and protect the service. Every dispatch includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing picks@filmprogrammingbureau.com.

Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
